IHRSA’s (International Health Racquet and Sportsclub Association) European Congress is nearly upon us. This year’s event is being held in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal.
This year’s Congress features keynote presentations on “Ryanair: Leading a Business Revolution” by Kell Ryan, Co-Founder of Ryanair; “From Tennis Ace to Ace of Clubs: Playing to Win” by David Lloyd, Founder of David Lloyd Leisure; “The European Business Climate in 2028” by Mike Rosenberg, Director of International Executive Education at IESE Business School and “Managing a Brand” by Gene LaMott, Former President & CEO of Gold’s Gym International. Oh, and I’m presenting as well. My topic is creating a purpose-driven health and fitness club: What does your club stand for?
The IHRSA European Congress is an event you should consider attending if you are currently working in or running one or more Europe-based fitness facilities. I have attended for the past two years and always find it incredibly useful to listen to insightful presentations and discuss business with delegates from all parts of Europe and North America.
Those nice people at IHRSA are giving my blog readers a €50 discount (that’s the equivalent of 25 cappuccinos, which is not be to be sniffed (or sipped) at! Browse over to www.ihrsa.org/partners to see the full programme and quote RAlgar 08EC to qualify for your discount.
Hope to see you in Lisbon.
