Oxygen Consulting forges alliance with Spain's, Socialware
why internet is the media
ASOMO captures negative and positive comments posted by users in discussion forums, blogs and review sites, spanning most major languages. It allows organisations to monitor the opinion surrounding their brands, organisations and events that make up their social climate on the internet. Oxygen discovered ASOMO when researching an article for Leisure Report – Let's get sentimental.
We are now working with Socialware, the company that developed ASOMO to develop an understanding of what consumers are saying online about the health club experience. Recently, we commissioned the UK's largest-ever study into the online sentiment of UK consumers towards the 'gym experience', which will shortly be published as a research bulletin.

Strategy workshop for Wave Leisure
Wave Leisure is a relatively young trust operating five leisure centres in East Sussex. Ray was invited to become the Deputy Chairman of Wave back in 2006. Ray has a non-executive role with day-to-day management of the trust led by Peter Crowley, the Managing Director. Peter recently asked Ray to lead a strategy workshop, which focused on discussion around Wave's growth aspirations. The workshop was designed to ensure that there was consensus among Wave's trustees and management team regarding Wave's plans for growth. Peter had this to say about Ray's contribution:
"I would just like to say thank you for facilitating the strategy meeting yesterday, for giving up your time and the amount of work that went into the excellent presentation. It was a very interesting morning with worthwhile contributions from all the team. This has now given us the steer and something to work towards. Once again many thanks."
Peter Crowley, Managing Director
